Tell Me A Secret

I stumbled upon this object while wandering in the woods near the site of the Beverly Hills Club in Southgate, KY (If you're unfamiliar with the Beverly Hills tragedy, you can read about it here: [link])
At first, I had no idea what it was. I've been told that it's an electrical box, of the kind found in a wall, holding light switches or outlets.
But that still does not quench my curiosity.
This box must have a story. It is a mystery. A treasure-box of secrets, if you will.
In any case, it's covered in rust and obviously has been exposed to the elements for a very long time.
